The 2012 Vintage Ale, our 16th, is brewed with three of this year’s finest hop varieties including, Goldings, award winning Sovereign and Target hops. These combined with our unique yeast and organic barley grown by Sir James Fuller on the Neston Park Estate result in a wonderful limited edition brew that has a luxurious flavour.

Individually packed and numbered, this bottle is one of only one hundred and twenty five thousand produced

Although we are obliged to state a best before date of 2015, like a fine wine or whisky, this mellow golden ale will improve with age for many more years

Being bottle conditioned, the beer will form a natural sediment, so pour carefully, sit back, and enjoy this, the very finest of Fuller’s ales.

Gorgeous copper pour with a fluffy off white head. The nose is a little dull, light goldings, sweet, biscuity malts, and some alcohol. Mouthfeel is a little thick, carb is soft. The finish is very sweet, lots of booze, and some doppelbock like maltiness. The hops drop off completely and leave a low bitterness in the finish with some alcohol warming. This needs some age. But still a nice nightcap beer.

500ml bottle from Fullers Brewery, Chiswick, London. An amber/orange coloured pour with a thinnish off white head on top. Sweet aroma of caramel and dark fruit. Tastes very sweet indeed, boozy, caramel, warming. Possibly past its best now but the aroma on this is superb.

Bottle n. 26624 from Viti's, Vancouver
Hazy golden color. It has a nice cereals and malt base, moderately sweet, with hints of toffee, pudding, raisins, quite low bitterness, and average alcohol feeling. Bit of vegetables too.
Good.

Bottle. Milky red amber, offwhite lace. Not as oxidized as the 2014 version. Spice, light leather, toffee. Plumpudding, a hint wood, hint of citric hops. Medium full mellow body. Citrus brandy finish - tastes surprisingly fresh. Wood and leather aftertaste.
