High Wire is our tribute to the Pale Ales of the West Coast of America, beers unapologetically hop forward in character. Let your taste buds walk this test of balance. Mango, lychee and lip-smacking grapefruit flavours harmonise against a smoothly composed malt base, which develops into a crisply bitter finish. Are you ready for our tightrope of taste. .?

Rocky white head left a froth on a hazy light copper coloured still body. Zest, pith & hop aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a sharp back & clean aft. Hoppy, stewed fruit, dank, pith, grapefruit & pith tastes.

Can from M&S Cardiff. Bright golden pour with a foamy head. Aroma is fruity and dank. Taste starts with the hops, juicy, fruity, earthy dank, yet still has a nice detectable caramel malt body. The hops linger for a while on the palate.

Tap at 100 piv. Easy drinking, hops centered, malt in the background. Moderate body, med-high carbonation. Not overly intense in terms of hoppiness though, rather moderately so. Generic exotic citrusy fruitiness. Quite good.

Cask at Southampton Arms. Blond colour with small white head. Aroma is peach and mango with a bit of tom cat/citrus hops. Taste is not as bitter as I expected, quite fruity with just a touch of bitterness. Medium bodied with low carbonation.
