High Wire is our tribute to the Pale Ales of the West Coast of America, beers unapologetically hop forward in character. Let your taste buds walk this test of balance. Mango, lychee and lip-smacking grapefruit flavours harmonise against a smoothly composed malt base, which develops into a crisply bitter finish. Are you ready for our tightrope of taste. .?

Can from Wine Rack, West Byfleet. Floral citrus aroma. An hazy amber. Very frothy white head. Medium bitter with underlying sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick with soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. To be honest, I downed it without much thought. I.e. highly drinkable.

Kicsi, tartós hab, barnás-narancsos szín. Citrusos, grapefruitos, déligyümölcsös illat. Grapefruitos, déligyümölcsös ízek, némi gyantás aromával. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas és keserű. Jól összerakott, élénk ízvilágú sör.

Bought on sale via Rakuten. This mellow gold brew has a pithy grapefruit rind hop bouquet. The taste is bitter pine, bark, some grapefruit rind and smooth bodied. A touch too bitter for me. Not fresh so just grapefruit taste/aroma for me - no mango or lychee and overly bitter.

330ml can. Pours a hazy slightly murky looking orange colour with a small frothy white head. Mango, grapefruit and other tropical fruits in the hoppy aroma. Taste is also really hoppy, juicy tropical fruits, citrus, caramel. Bitter finish. Very nice, very drinkable.

Can from Brewcraft at home. Hazy orange pour thin white head. Aroma is super resinous and inviting. Taste is a bit more empty and doesn’t deliver as much. Not bad at all but grapefruit version is better.

Can 33 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Strange, flawed aroma, salty and mousy - no hop freshness (BB 180117). Light body, chalky, very bitter, but again this salty, cheesy edge to it. Very unpleasant and certainly not what you’d expect from Magic Rock! 061216
