On tap at Lucky Envelope, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out grassy and herbal hops, with light straw. Flavour is gentle, with herbal hops, grassy hops, and some straw. Not as bright as I would hope for, but not bad.

Lucky Envelope Helles Lager 5% Nice clear gold with a soapy looking fast vanishing white head of foam. The aroma is fresh grainy crackery malts and lemony herbal hops. Medium to light bodied with a crisp finish. All in all a solidly satisfying example of the style.

Might be the best helles I've ever had outside of Germany. Great stuff. Refreshing, flavorful, and not overpowering on the dank notes.

Straw...too light for style, husky pale malt, light bready note, touch of apple. Meh, not really hitting the style.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet hay and straw notes with a bit of corn underlying. Flavor is similar with sweet hay and a good amount of straw.

Draft pour pint at the collective. Clear golden color with no head. Soft plastic grain aroma. This doesn’t taste like anything to me really. Extremely bland. Hints of grain I guess. Very watery. I suppose that is the main ingredient so I van complain to much. Just too bland.
