Can - Light dirty grains with a touch of noble hop. Clear pale gold with a frothy white head. Touch of corn and grain with a light finish. Much like a macro lager with a touch more flavor.

Aroma has sourdough hints. Drank from the can so I didn’t see much but it had no frothiness that I could see. Flavour is weak lager notes with nothing to distinguish it. Weaker on the mouth than other lagers I’ve tried. It’s just slightly below adequate.

Poured from the tap. Clear golden yellow with minimal white head. Clean, simple, a bit of skunk aroma, some cereal malt on the taste. Okay...for a lager.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear pale yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out cereal malts and straw. Flavour is clean and dry, bringing out cereal malts, straw and wheat. Very dry and clean. A refreshing, drinkable lager.

On tap. A lightly hazy beer topped by a decent, off-white head. Lightly citrusy and malty aroma, some caramel notes, all quite weak. Rather boring flavor too, there’s no real errors going on, it’s just boring. Lacking a bit on bitterness I think. It sort of reminds me of a generic boring bitter, so it’s not completely free for hops though. Medium body, soft carbonation. A boring beer I sure won’t miss. 130704

Blond color. A simple Lager, with some hidden quality (light crispy malt), low bitterness in the beginning, ordinay bitterness at the end; the finish is quite dry.

Golden colour. Bright. Thick, rich foam. Fresh bready malt aroma with a little bit of grassy hop. Very fresh bread crust flavour. Moderate body. Hops are light, slighlty grassy. Very clean. Typical of Mark James lagers - very well made.
