On tap at Brassneck. Pours clear gold with a white head. Soft biscuit malts and resins on the nose. Flavour has a lot of resinous pine and a soft biscuit malt profile, almost a bit bready. Decent, drinkable, nice level of bitterness.

Poured from the tap. Clear-ish copper with small white head. Mild cereal malt with mild, lingering resinous hops. Unmemorable.

Growler from the brewery, bought and buried in the fridge downstairs for a week - well Hell, some of us have to work you know. It pours with a slightly translucent brown body and plenty of carbonation with modest white foam head. Smells mostly of malt but also a hint of hops in there to temper it out and lean toward sharpness. The flavour is mostly malt with just a bit of floral hops dancing around amongst a medium finish. Kind of an odd Pale Ale in that it's missing that nice crisp finish I look for an like. But still, not too bad.

On tap at Tacofino with Sonnet after PM. Pours a clear amber with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and piney hops. Similar taste. High hoppy bitterness aftertaste. Quite good stuff, but I would say that it has too much of roasted malt notes as for APA.

Bright amber color, hazy, with small head. mild aroma of cereals, paper, malt, refined white sugar, and hints of fruity hop. Very dry mouthfeel; some dry caramel flavor with strong bitterness, paper flavor too; a bit of resins and fruits from the hop dryness and bitterness lead to final astringency. Easy to drink, very clean compared to the typical Brassneck, but doesn’t fly.

2014-05-12, draught at the brewery, 6-5-6-2-12=31
Amber color with red hue, hazy, bright. The aroma has caramel, first, then mild citrusy hops, last a faint yeast spiciness. The mouthfeel is very dry, sharp caramel flavor, lightly nutty; strong bitterness, quite resiny but not enough fruity; unfortunate metallic aftertaste.
