Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, yeast, candy sugar, light liquorice. Flavour is quite big malty and caramel sweetness. I think they took the sweetness a a bit too far. Body and mouthfeel are fine.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Dark brown colored brew with an dry bitter taste with some faint sweetness. Hints of chocolate, roasted malts and some caramel. Drunk this one under another name LE-4 Dubbel Bier.

Bottle from ShivanDragon, thanks! Amber color, pours a huge head. Malt and caramel in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly flavor with hints of pear and chichory. Well carbonated. Not really exciting, but drinkable.

Fles 33cl thuis. Caramelmouten en suikers overheersen. Zoet, hop (magnum, tettnanger), bittertonen niet echt merkbaar, redelijk koolzuur, lichte tonen van rood fruit, wat nootachtige droogheid, bijsmaakje in de nadronk. (17-11-2018).

33 cl. bottle @ home, shared with Rick, Suus and Alex, bought @ D'olle Slieter, Veendam Brown with a white head. Grainy caramel aroma. Sweet taste with a metallic finish. Bit standard dubbel but not unenjoyable.

Dark red-brown colour. Aroma of dark malts and red fruits. Low carbonation. Some dried fruit sweetness in the taste.

Bottle sampled at The Hague beer festival. Pours hazy brown with a tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33cl bottle from mitra Groningen. Thin off white head. Clear amber pour. A bit too sweet. Not a great dubbel.
