Bottle. Muddy, murky brownish amber with an off-white head. Dark malts, cacao, toasted bread combine with banana, dryish in body and average in carbonation.

Such a great hefe!!!! Very similar to their regular hefe but it’s got a bit of a thicker mouthfeel and some more bready malts. The clove and banana esters are a litte more pronounced and super sharp. This the benchmark beer for the style

Poors a cloudy brown with a white foamy head. Aroma of malts, ripe banana, bread, slight caramel. I like it even better than the regular Hefeweizen from this brewer.

Good Weizens loose their freshness and flavors quickly, but if you can get one of these while it's fresh you'll be rewarded with banana, vanilla, and malt aromas, malt, fruit and yeast flavors with a smooth filling refreshing dark beer. Some prefer the lighter of their Weissbiers, I'll take the Dunkel.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a murky brown colour with small off white head, some retention. Aroma of banana, clove and caramel. Simple but has nice freshness and intensity to it. Taste has a sweetness with malt, caramel, bread, some chocolate. Fruity middle with banana, clove, some zest notes leading to a decent bitter finish to offset the sweetness. Light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Doesn't have the nice creaminess you can get from some weissbiers. Overall a good tasty dunkelweizen

Bottle 0,5ltr: Hazy brown slightly bittersweet Dunkel from the oldest brewery, some roasty malts taste and far away some caramel too.
