Wad oars dan Wad Weizen? Liefhebbers van een weizen zweren erbij. Bij ons goudgele Duitse tarwebier dat we volgens het Reinheitsgebot* brouwen. (Zelfs onze Duitse gasten roemen ‘m met ‘ein verdammt gutes Weizen’). Met een medium body van 55% tarwe is Wad Weizen heerlijk fris biertje, met een fruitig aroma van banaan en kruidnagel, een flinke prikkel en een verfrissende afdronk.

Thanks fonefan! Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some toffee and mild wheat tones to it. Flavour is floral, some toffee, and wheat tones with some mild strawberry and yeast tones to it. OK, but not that much Hefeweizen as usual with some Dutchies of this style...

Sample, thanks fonefan! Lightly hazy amber, small head. Aroma of banana and crackers. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Banana and bread. Low bitterness.

From tap at BrouwDOK, Harlingen. Aroma is wheat, banana bread, fruity, citrus, yeast, and a touch of blossoms. Flavour is light sweet and slightly bitter. Body is medium. Decent Weizen, went down well.

Draft at BrouwDOK. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Yeasty, spicy Taste: Wheay malt, slightly sourish orange / lemon hints, yeasty, coriander. Very smooth. Nice.

Fles op vakantie geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat gistachtige zoete geur. De smaak is moutig, zacht zoet en banaan achtig.
