Bottle from the Brussels, Beer Cafe, Gurney Paragon, Penang, Malaysia. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is dry cardboard malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light mineral aspirin malt, woody light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Easy drinking and fine on a hot day but with little defining flavours.

275ml bottle. Pale, straw colour with a frothy white head. Sweet, grassy aroma. Taste is sweet, not much more evident. Pretty forgettable really

A fairly typical lager of the type. Not a huge amount of aroma, a slightly sickly sweetness along with some bitter hop but not especially tasty and not much to it by way of body or aftertaste.

Bottle. Flat and boring. Metallic, grassy and skunky by default. Used to drink loads of this when I was younger and didn’t know better. A little bit more on the bitter side than some of the other big German Pilsener but that really doesn’t mean a lot...I will never spend money on it again but when it’s for free...

Bottle from the state store
Pours clear light golden with a small white head, light lacing. Aroma is skunky and wheat. Taste of hay, grassy and spicy
I would assume this would be better without the green bottle

Sample from a friends Bottle at Restaurant Wally, nijmegen. Golden yellow, medium head. Aroma is grain, malt. Taste is the same, meh ok ish

Bottle in the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge at LHR. Golden with a white head. Sweetish with bread, some vegetables and cardboard. Thin and boring with a light bitterness.
