Tap @ Kafe Belgie, medium sample. Slight hazy amber color, medium frothy head. Aroma of grassy hop, bit citrus, some basil, slight cookie and biscuit, caramel. Medium bitter in taste, caramel and toffee sweetness to balance it out. I like this one.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden. Aroma of hops, with overripe fruits and a sulphury hint. Sweetish flavor with malt, fruity hops, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle from Hanlon’s Garage, Longford [070714] New 5.8% version
Nose of soft tangerine, soft tropical fruit, sweet orange....taste of citrus zest, orange fruits, bitter zest, soft carb, medium body. Finish as main flavour, bit dry, some dry bitter dull zest...doesn’t have the depth the flavour as the last bottle I tried (7% version) and not as good but it’s still a nice beer

12oz bottle. Pours a caramel gold into the tulip glass. Medium off white head that dissipates after awhile, some lacing on the glass. Big tropical fruit aroma, grapefruit, floral. Taste is that with a caramel malt backbone. Good mouthfeel, but can be a bit too sweet. Overall excellent IPA and one that I am very glad to have tried.
