Heen & Weer combines a rather sweet malty backbone and well hopped bitterness to a beautifully balanced but uncommon Belgian style Abbey Triple. Ideal companion for a beef stew. Flavour indication: Malts, ripe yellow fruit, citrus Translates as Back & Forth

2 1/2 year old bottle at the beer bistro. Pours a murky orange, with a big off white head. Aroma is very sweet, lined with stone fruit, sherry, yeast and some musty cereals. Soft carb, lifeless mouth feel. Finish has barely any bitterness, more sweet sherry, and stone fruit with some wet paper and yeasty cereals. This beer has seen better days.

Pours a cloudy dark orange with a small beige head. Surprising aroma of citrus, some apple, coriander, some more spices. Has a sweetness to it, but also sour notes. Somewhat wine-like. I did not expect this at all from a Tripel.

Bottiglia. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente.

Auburn with a creamy, white head that lingers. Understated aroma has toffee and a touch of spice. Taste is bitter with mildly fruity, prune-like undertones. Big, malty sweetness just underneath but there’s enough of a hops profile to provide a balance. Full-bodied, mild carbonation. Pleasant.
