The wheat malt gives the beer a delightful, fresh flavour, and the addition of coriander and lemon during the brewing process produces a rich aroma of banana, citrus and spices. Topped off by a fine, slightly sweet aftertaste, IJwit is a delicious thirst-quencher.

Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow with an ok white head. Aroma of lemons, wheat, coriander, zest and yeast. Taste follows aroma plus lime and grains. Very lemony and tangy. Low bitterness. Medium to strong carbon. Very refreshing. A good one.

# 4587; 4/2025. Spicy, coriander, clovy aroma. Murky yellow body; persistent off-white head. Very good witt. 0,1 l, tasting sample, bar (Hugo), Slaný (Bohemia, CZ).

Can from a Albert Heijn at Utrechts Central station. Cloudy yellow, white foamy head. Banana aroma, light citrus. Medium full body, chewy, spritzy. Fairly fruity, light spice. Banana dominant, some clove, coriander, citrus retronasal, feels like a Weizen-Wit hybrid. Quite nice really.

Aroma: herbal with banana
Flavour: fruity sweet with notes of banana and coriander. Aftertaste is sweet.
Colour: hazy yellow with a white head.

Bottle at the hotel in Bussum Zuid. Pours deep golden with thin white head. Pleasant wit with a light, but nevertheless full body.

Belgian White from the sympathetic ’t IJ brewery. Fruity and spicy (coriander) aroma. Nice and refreshing, but fairly run-of-the-mill.

Аромат немного спертый, очень цветочный, постоянный, с градусами только усиливается, на оттенке кориандр. Цвет бледно желтый, сильно мутный, средняя белая, немного липкая пена. Вкус водянистый как и надо для данного сорта, шести градусов не ощущается, средняя карбонизация. Послевкусие великолепное, почти идеальное, легкие нотки дрожжей перебивает цветочно-пшеничный оттенок. В целом почти Хугарден.

250ml from the tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Aromas & tastes of banana, coriander, spices & yeast. Medium body. Dry light bitter finish. Very enjoyable
