The American Wheat Ale is firmer and hoppier than the average wheat ale. It is fresh but smooth too and it has a refreshing, soft bitterness to it. Credit is due to the Mosaic and Galaxy hops there, which also provide the fruity tones of orange and mango. Fruit of the collaboration: beautiful wheat beer with a bite.

Tap at Black Door. Clear golden color, small white head. Strong overriped pineapple and strawberries. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Sweetish fruity flavor. Some citrus but way too much strawberries. Meh. Not my beer.

Bottle split at home thanks to James, 21/11/15. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric sherbets, trace of pine, tangerine, lemon drizzle, light bread dough. Taste comprises floral hops, tangerine, mineral notes, citric sherbets. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with juicy hop bitterness and a trace of tea leaves in the close. Decent hoppy wheat.

At Craft Bier Fest Wien. Unfortunately too low carbonation. Shows the promising garlicy sweaty elements common to most undercarbonated hoppy beers and does not pull it off.
