What this beer packages into 6% is it’s strength. World-class for the style. Clean lots of flavour, perfect roast-bitterness-sweetness balances. Beer tasting room i the wildeman Amsterdam 3.8 july 2021 Again at Billies Bf antwerp... even better, so creamy it feels like nitro

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pitch black colour, large and creamy beige head. Firm roasty aroma, notes of coffee and chocolate, hints of liquorice and woodwork. Moderately roasty flavour, medium dry, with the same elements as in the aroma, followed by a distinct hoppy bitterness. Roasty and hoppy aftertaste. Well balanced and highly drinkable.

So this is a superb stout, pours a thick-looking near black with a frothy beige head. Has a subdued aroma of roasted malt with hints of coffee and liquorice, and a deep, rich roasted malt flavour, some milk sweetness to begin with and a dry hop bitterness into the the finish
