An amber-colored filtered beer of high fermentation. The combination of Ambré malt and Caramel malt provides a malty finish. The blend of Belgian and German hop varieties give it a very personal nose and a mouth-watering bitterness. Slightly seasoned at the end of the cooking.

250 ml bottle. Amber body with a medium white head. Aroma of sweet malt, fruit, yeast and hops. Flavor is sweet malty, some caramel, yeast and hops. Not bad, not extraordinary, just quite nice.

Pous a clear orange beer, fine white head. Smells sweet, caramel, dried fruits and honey. A very pleasant, non sticky, mouthfeeling, a very soft taste. Alcoholsweetness, spices and a little hop. Aftertaste has more spices and hops.

Deep amber color with a medium white head that settles quickly to reveal little to no lacing. Aroma of bread dough, malts and orange peel. Flavor is dominated by the malts, with moderate spices, not a bad flavor, but nothing too complex. Decent enough body, but nothing special. A good blonde ale, but not outstanding.

Bottle at Cambrinus in Brugge. Pours clean amber with a large frothy off-white head. Aromas of mixed hop - somewhat grassy. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Very smooth brown malt taste with grassy bitter, and something more. Good, but not familiar. Very pleasant drinking beer.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small, white head and a clear burnt yellow body. Okay lacing. Aroma of coriander, celery and orange. Taste is sweet with a grand manier like feel. Coriander and honey suckle as well. Fizzy and dryish mouthfeel.

Bottle, pours clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma is very strong of biscuity malt, some carmel. I also get a light citric hop smell. Flavor is nice, starts with some sweet carmel and fades to a nice fresh hop bitterness. The malt character flows nicely in the background. Finishes slightly dry and slowly mellows out. Great flavor that lasts for a minute after swallowing. Excellent lacing as I’m drinking. The mouth is perfect to me. The carbonation hits at just the right time(after the initial sweeness) and helps bring the bitterness to the forefront. I have to admit I wasn’t expecting much, but this was a pleasant suprise. Great flavor, easy to drink, and left me wanting more. Pick some up if you can!

An orange amber ale with thin white head. A pleasant aroma of coriander and curacao, light sweet malt and light salty points. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light orange peels, a bit thin but well done little beer. Tasted in Nov. 2006.

Bottle, de Beiaard, nr Heineken Brewery, Amsterdam. Dark amber colour with a small dissipating white head. Aroma was malty and spicy with vague hop. Flavour was a bit too sweet for my liking. Depite the presence of some fruit (orange peel, peach) and caramel malt in the flavour, I wasn’t really feeling this. Might have another look at some stage though (yeah, at the beer not the naked bird)
