An amber-colored filtered beer of high fermentation. The combination of Ambré malt and Caramel malt provides a malty finish. The blend of Belgian and German hop varieties give it a very personal nose and a mouth-watering bitterness. Slightly seasoned at the end of the cooking.

Bottled. Clear golden with a white head. Quite weak, but hoppy aroma. The flavor has sweetness, with a bit maltyness and hops. Medium body and a quite sweet finish. (060328)

Bottled little bar in Bruges 03-11-05. Darkish golden colour, fruity yeasty aroma, fruity and smooth tasting beer.

Bottle at Paters Vaetje, Antwerp. Found this rating on a scrap of paper at the bottom of my bag after I ran out of space in my book. Poor planning. Very attractive reddish copper colour with thinish white head. Not a bad caramel/citric tangerine thing, but not a fan of this.

Golden, small creamy head. Yeasty, spicey nose, some fruits (apricot) too. Sweet, liquerish, metallic taste. Some hops in the finish. A bit too much candi sugar added.

(Bottle 25 cl) Nice deep golden colour - almost amber. Fairly decent head with some lacing. Some initial sweetness quickly balanced with a rather hoppy finish. 290695

Bottle. Amber colour, white head. Tea-like flavour. Semi-sweet and quite bitter. Aftertaste also tea-like, but slightly boring.

Off-white, rocky head, but fully diminishing. Excellent lace. Clear, amber body. Hoppy aroma. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter (short) finish. Light to medium bodied. Lively carbonation.

Light amber color. Simple aroma; also the taste is quite simple, but has a quite strong hopping. Ends with some sweetness.

An amber beer with a fine small disappearing though lazing head. The aroma is powerful of yeast and apples - a very complex aroma. The flavor is very sweet malty with notes of caramel, apples, yeast, and spices.

Bottled. Muddy deep golden. Estery fruits up front. Softly malty, some bubblegum. Pleasant and impressive.
