Can 35,5 cl. Pours a clear, deep amber with a creamy and lacing, beige head. Nose of nuts and crystal malts. Clean, rich, malty nose with caramel and a slight nuttiness. Super smooth and soft mouthfee. Sufficient bittering hops. Perfectly easy and drinkable beer with no frills. 170123

Reddish with a fleeting, frothy head. No lacing. Not much to look at. Aroma is caramel malt, slightly nutty, and slightly metallic. Taste is toasted bitter with a sharp surge from the hops at the finish. Medium-bodied, mildish carbonation, a bit watery underneath the hop bite at the finish. Mediocre stuff.

355ml can. Minimally milky, redd-ish, amber colour with small to average, frothy, fading, off-white head. Mellow, minimally toasty, nutty, malty aroma, fruity hoppy overtones, hints of red berries. Taste is slightly dry, fruity and grassy hoppy, minimally toasty, nutty, caramel malty, a touch of red berries. Watery texture, indifferent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Balanced, not too light, fairly prototypical for the style - OK.

Sampled from the tap at the North Dock. Pours a clear amber with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has grains and light bread with a bit of grass underlying. Flavor has bread and straw with some grass and grain backing.

12 oz. can purchased in Frisco, Colorado. Pours a clear copper color with a tiny beige head and poor retention. No lacing. Caramel aroma. Stronger caramel flavor than the nose. Super short finish. Flat body and mouthfeel, but it works. Not harsh like a lot of ambers. Both the 5.8 ABV and the 49 IBU are well hidden.

Thanks Trevor.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a moderate pace. Subtle sliding lace.
The aroma had a nice strong caramel malt backbone with some toast and then some light grassy hops, somewhat bitter but more just for the balance.
The flavor leads with the sweet malt and then adds in a slight nuttiness. Toast comes back slightly. Nicely blended aftertaste. Moderate semi-dry sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good strength in the smoothness across my tongue. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty good amber ale that I could have again if it was distributed in my area.
