100% WET HOP ALE HopTime Harvest Ale is brewed with 100% wet (in-kilned) hops. This means the hops are still carrying all their moisture and thus we have to add 5 to 8 times the amount of hops as compared to a regular brew. When brewing with wet hops a brewer gets a much different hop character as compared to brewing with dried, more conventional hops. The difference in brewing with wet and dried hops is like comparing freshly pick basil and dried basil, it is good both ways but each style has its own unique flavors and aromas.
