Dit is een krachtige Black India Pale Ale. Een bier met een veel hop aroma, ondersteund door donkere mout, en een lichte hint van gebrande mout.
Zeker fruitig, met een mooie toets van hop en koffie. Geen bier om snel te drinken, maar om van te genieten. Proost !!!

[9/24/16] Bottle sample at hotel room tasting in Woerden. Thanks everyone for sharing! Black with a beige head. Aroma of malt, yeast, some roast, piney hops. Flavor is quite dry, bitter, with roast, piney hops. Medium-bodied.

Bottle. Brown color with beige head. Aroma is fresh yeasts, brown malts, not so much hoopy. Taste is brown and roasted malts, a bit hoppy. Bitter finish. Overcarbonated, but besides that, not bad.

0,33l bottle at home from Bier Navi. Bottled 05/2016. almost black color, medium big tan head. smells of yoghurt, spices, light roast, licorice, peppery. rather average smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly roasty, peppery, licorice, some coffee, light veggies, some currant notes. finishes lighty bitter and roasty with notes of licorice and spices. overall drinkable but had better, also some light off-notes. overall just decent. actually gets a bit better once it warms up (so i added a point).

Bouteille 33cl, batch#5. Brune, col épais, café au lait. Arôme au nez plutôt caramel, chocolaté avec une pointe de fumé en rétro. Assez modéré et une légère impression de cour de ferme, levure, note de houblonné vert, rétro léger de pin. Palais est malté, grillé, caramel, touche de fumé en rétro, note houblonnée rappelant le houblon type C. Herbacé sur fine amertume, vert, agrumes, note pamplemousse mais où la balance penche en faveur des malts.

#rating 12.000! 33cl bottle. Pours clear dark brown colour with a huge good lasting tan head. aroma of chocolate, licourice, coffee. Taste is intense roasty, coffee, bitter coffee beans, licourice, mild hoppy, very good.

33 cl bottle. Pours dark brown to black, huge tan head. Aroma is fruity, toasted malty and crisp hoppy. Smooth fruity, crisp hoppy, citrusy and smooth fruity finish.
