Pale blonde, Cloudy. Bottle. Smoke and beechwood in the aroma. Soft grassy notes. Grainy smoked flavor. Iodine, band aids. Grainy, hops and citrus hidden for the most part. Nice one.

330ml bottle. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, malt, light citrus, light smoke. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, sweet malt, floral, light dry smoky, light boozy hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

0.33 l bottle from 'De Molen', best before March 2018. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity, rather smoky and slightly resiny aroma of mango, orange, peat and a touch of pine. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, fairly smoky and quite fruity taste of peat, iodine, mango, peach, orange and hints of pine, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, very smoky, slightly resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and rather effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. The smoke is not completely integrated, it's a bit messy and it has got slightly too much effervescence as well, but in general it's a pretty decent and enjoyable Smoked IPA.

330 ml Bottle. Thanks to Maakun for the bottle. Pours with a hazy orange color and a nice large white head. Nice and intresting nose: smoke from a cold bonfire mixed with slightly tropical fruit. Some spruce and piny fragrance hops, some malts. First impression is a little artificial, but it isnt. Taste like Islay Whisky, the rye is more intense, fruity, cold ash, nice hoppy bitterness, very nice smoke and fruity finish. I love this combination of smoke and IPA. Thanks to Maakun for this very intresting beer.

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow color, medium to full sized white head. Aroma is malts, some hops, some smoke. Taste malts, lightly hops in the background, smoke. Smoke in the aroma becomes more and more dominant after the beer warms up. Medium body, firm and actually a bit annoying carbonation. Not my kind of beer, I don’t like the combination of smoke and IPA.

Bottle. Hazy golden pour. Aroma of smokey ham and spice. Really smokey taste, with ham, sweet honey, bandaid and some peat. Mildly spicey as well. No hops though, would call this a smoked blonde.

Thick hazy golden pour with almost no head. Smoky smell, with notes of citrus and grains. The taste is very smoky (like a rauchbier) and a bit sour because of that, but also quite bitter. One can also identify notes of citrus hops . Very smooth texture and a thick body resembling a rye imperial stout. Bitter and salty aftertaste.

330 ml can from my EU Local Swap 4/2015 sender MrHangover, thanks!
Dark yellow, hazy body, with a medium, frothy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of peat, smoked wood, orange, subtle citrus, some sweet malts.
Tastes of smoked wood, some peat, citrus, orange, candy, some peach.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes smokey, medium bitter, a bit dry, fruity, a bit malty.

OK. I’m not a big fan of peat, so I don’t like the smell much. Taste is a bit better, with more IPA notes. Overall a unique beer, but nothing I would drink again I guess.
