16oz can picked up at College Liquors
Pours cloudy orange/golden with a medium sized off-white head, good lacing. Aroma of bright citrus, yeast and herbal. Taste is fruit, grains with a lemon zest finish
Ok, but I wouldn’t want another.

At the brewery during GABF week, 2014. Better than the black ipa. Hops and yeast aroma. Easily recognizable as a Belgian style ipa with the yeast and hops, a little sweet.

16oz can pours with a hazy copper body that supports a near white head. The mild aroma offers up roasted malts, a bit of floral hops, a bit of resiny pine hops and some hints of flowery notes. The taste is similar as it starts resiny with pine hops and then a little fruity citrus hops and then it picks up some roasted maltiness to midway. This has a good bit of resiny hop bitterness. Pretty cool.

Sample at the taproom. The beer pours a clear copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, hops and yeast. Medium-bodied with flavors of citrus, earthy yeast and grassy hops. The finish is fruity with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft - Light grains, light earthy hops and sweet yeast. Cloudy copper with a decent beige head. Grainy, sour, bitter earthy hop. The earthiness is much too much and isn’t well balanced.Earlier Rating: 5/21/2014 Total Score: 3.7Draft - Piney wet hops and Belgian yeast. Hazy gold with a decent beige head. Dank bitter piney hops, a unknown herbal spiciness, with a Belgian sweetness. This actually works really well, I am surprised.Earlier Rating: 5/21/2014 Total Score: 3.4Draft - Light caramel and Belgian yeast. Clear caramel and a beige head. Earthy light hops, bit of spicy yeasty sweetness. A nice hoppy ale that works for me.

Tap @ River North. Pours a red-orange appearance with an off white head. Pretty strong, piney hoppy, a bit toasty malty aroma. The hops in the flavor seemed to be overly done and too bitter and seemed to mask the caramel maltiness too much. My least favorite of the trip.
