not super cleanly fermented, hop forward, but light. Decent, but not something I’d buy again. Trve denver

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear orange with frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is raisin and grain. Medium body, bready malt, caramel, light finish, good.

Enjoyed on tap at Trve Brewing in Denver, CO as part of a sampler. Appearance is a darkish amber with a thin white head. Aroma of light malt, not too much going on. Taste is great, malt really shines through and offers a great crispness. Really solid sessionable brew.

Hellion An American table beer that’s copper orange in color. Malty peppermint aroma, medium to full bodied with spiced honey biscuit malts and then a brief hit of hops. Great flavor for a low ABV and taking an English style and ramping it up a bit with a hoppy tweak. I liked it quite a bit as it made a nice respite from so many 5-6%+ brews in Colorado.

Tap at the brewery, GABF week 2015. They described this as a table beer on the menu. Copper color, aroma of mild hops. Flavir is dry and bitter, lots of grain and malt. Simple but an enjoyable session beer.

On tap at brewpub. Says its above 4%. Aroma is very rich and malty with a Munich character along with toasted bread and light caramel. Fairly clean ester and phenolic profile with malt dominating. No real hop aroma. Pours a clear copper color with a thin white head that lingers on the edges. Moderately high lacing. Flavor is also fairly rich and malty with toasted bread and light caramel. Slight nuttiness. Low bitterness and no hop flavor. Mouthfeel is light bodied but not watery with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall an alright beer, but there really isn’t anything amazing about it. Clean and easy drinking but it leaves me wanting to try another beer. Inoffensive, but I like offensive beer.

First of all, props to them for making something so sessionable - the oat character in the way of a very creamy body and a light sweetness - sadly, it kind of falls flat in flavor - kind of dull, moderately yeasty, a light bitterness - lightly metallic finish - a little husky throughout - meh.
