Served WAY too cold and in a frosted shaker glass. Dark brown with a small beige head, some lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel and milk chocolate. Flavors of roasted malts, chocolate and rich milk coffee

Refrigerated 12. Oz. brown bottle, from slowrunner77 (this finishes the 50 states for me), big thanks, poured into a snifter. Black with small off-white head. Aroma is nice milk chocolate, medium body, low carbonation, and a little small bubble lacing. Taste is lactose, chocolate, roasted malt, and some balancing hops.

Bottle from Corti Bros. Pours dark brn/blk with a slight, transient tan head. Aroma of mildly sweet chocolate with a little coffee. Med body or so. Flavor is lactic chocolate with some mild coffee. It’s somewhat bitter. Nice drink.

Sampled at GABF on Thursday October 11, 2012Very dark brown to black color, brown head. Sweet, roasted, coffee scent. Sweet, lactic taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

on tap-pours a tan head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-roasty/molasses. Taste is oat/dark malt-roasty/molasses/chocolate, secondary earthy hops. Gentle carbonation. Full body.

On-Tap at the Brewery Sparks NV, Pours out a dark brown topped with a tan head. A nice light roast coffee aroma and some sweetness. Tast of dark roast and plenty of malt. Not a bad brew.
