Draught at Old Chicago in Boulder, on October 8, 2012Clear copper color, no head. Butter, strawberry, butterscotch, cream taste. Spritzy mouthfeel, no bitterness. Fruity scent. Not bad, but I guess I expected more apples to come though.

Bottle. Spiced cider aroma... apple, cinnamon, nutmeg.. almost smells like pumpkin pie. Light golden amber, no head. Cinnamon, nutmeg, apple and oak flavor. Light crisp body. I’m a sucker for the warm taste and feel of fall seasonal spices, so I like this a lot. All I need is a bonfire.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours clear light amber with very small white head. Very little lacing, no carbonation, and medium body. Taste is nutmeg, some cinnamon, hints of oak, and apple. One of The best ciders I have had.

Pour is a copper with no head. Aromais nice. Lots of sweet apple with cinnamon and nutmeg. Almost smells like a pumpkin beer. Flavor is sweet and spiced. Kinda spiced a bit too much b/c this really takes over the apple flavor. Still this is a nice spiced cider and the more I had of it the better it got.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into a lager glass. Pours a clear light amber with no head. Aroma of apples and cinnamon. Taste is medium-heavy sweet and lightly sour. Taste of sour green apples and cinnamon. Light bodied with a thin and sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a long sweet and sour finish. Overall, not too bad. I couldn’t drink more than one.

Sampled at the Top of the Hops Beer Festival, Charlottesville, VA, 9/11/10. Pours a clear amber color with nearly no head. Big cinnamon and nutmeg notes with a sweet apple finish. The taste is sweet apples, cinnamon, vanilla and a tart finish of baked apples. Medium bodied. Fairly nice.

Pronounced cinnamon, clove, and apple nose. Clear amber, some visible effervescence. Cinnamon apple flavor with minty overtones. Normally, I don’t care for minty flavors in beer or cider, but this works, somehow. A biscuity shortbread finish. This tastes more like a very good Christmas cider, than fall. Creative and I like it a lot. May be my favorite Woodchuck.
