Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a golden straw with white head. Aroma is woodsy, oak, vinous, pungent, fruity, cognac. Taste is tart funky, woodsy, oak. cognac, grain, vinous. I've not had something this tart in awhile.

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Huge thanks to Kenny for this one. A hazed brushed gold coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, big vinous funk, pithy citrus, onion, hint of white grape, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, lemon rind, pithy citrus, lemon rind, funky vinous notes, musty grape, tangy. Palate is tangy, tart, very mellow carbonation. Very nice.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is very funk forward with nice must, earthy, herbal notes. Light lemon, pineapple and stone fruit notes. Solid grape must. Pours a hazy orange, with a medium large, thick, white head that recedes to the edges where it lingers. No lacing and small legs. Flavor is fairly acidic but not too harsh with lots of lemon, blue cheese, stone fruit, and grape must. Light earthy, herbal musty notes and a bit of a woody note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer, especially in the aroma. The flavor has a nice profile as well with classic older cantillon character.

Aroma hits you in the face with so much complexity right from the start. Right from the start it’s very funky, green tart apples, mold, red apples, red grapes, apricots, vinegary, cheese, gooseberries. Taste has lots of sour green apples, sweet red apples, elderflower, vinegary tart notes, citrus, lemon zest, cheesy funk, oak, hay and some tannins in the back. God damn, this is amazing. Best gueuze I’ve ever had for sure.

Medium oily body with soft carbonation. 10-4-10-5-18. OLD RATING: My first beer in my one month trip in US.. at the same time it was bytemesis 10K beer and a perfect gift for my birthday!! Helluva generous share by Andrew! Bottle. Pours hazy orange, small off-white head, dissipates slowly, decent lacing. Aroma is hay, funk, brett, musty wood, oak, hints of apricot, barnyard. Flavor is light tart, medium funk. Light body, soft carbonation. Quite refined and tasty. Has held up really well.
