From bottle at JBT fest. Quite flat and smooth, citrus lingering in background. Aroma bit IIPA, some light citrus. Alright if not so exciting. The description was sounded better than it tasted. Nothing wrong with it, but bit boring.

27.04.2019, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Nice fizzy-creamt mediumlasting head, dark amber color. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, toffee, grass, old citrus peel, fruit stones, dried dark fruits, soil, butterscotch, nuts, caramel malts, pepper corn, hints of licorice. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, grass, soil, weeds, minerals, fruit stones, old citrus peel, bark, dried dark fruits, old leafs, caramel malts, pine needles, harsh hops. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough. Kind of like an old American barleywine...

750mL bottle poured into a tulip, interesting deep orange to brown color with a bright white head. Big citrus(duh) aroma of freshly cut oranges or I guess tangerines based on the label, some tropical fruit and maybe some ginger in there. Taste is mostly tangerine citrus, some grapefruit and mandarin oranges, overcuts any genuine hop flavour. Overall an interesting idea that I would think would be more popular, but not something I would go back to.

4oz pour at Churchkey’s Nogne O Tap Takeover. Pours a clear, burnt orange with some cream colored head. Smells like homebrew, heavy citrus peel, dusty, musty, tangerine, some grapefruit pulp. Flavor is similar, lightly sweet, lightly tart, musty, grassy, orange, grapefruit, a little curry powder. Creamy and astringent finish. Yes, both creamy and astringent. Very odd. Reminds me too much of average home brew.
