Dark brown color with an off-white head, good retention and nice lacework. Aroma has notes of caramel, molasses, some ripe fruit. Flavor is light sweet, with a good presence of alcohol, caramelish notes and dry fruits. Sweetness in the final, alcoholic presence, warm character.

Tap at the BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Poured a clear medium amber with a round bubbly head. The aroma is rich alcoholic sweet and fruity. The flavour is strong bitter with a smooth alcoholic liqourice bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation. I don’t know many British strong ales that are anything like this.

On tap at Beer Temple, as RSA. Lisergic was too difficult for a name I guess. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, raisins, booze, alcohol, light spicy, caramel. Flavour is sweet, hot alcohol, spices from the rye I guess, caramel, raisins, some citrus, bittersweet finish. Full-bodied. A bit too much, lacks refinement, but tasty enough.
