Cask (Oliver Twist, Stockholm) - Golden in colour. Grapefruit, tea and hops in the aroma. Very refreshing taste with notes of lemon, tea, pineapple and grapefruit. Very enjoyable.

Cask @Angleterre. poured clear golden with a frothy white head. Lots of lemon in aroma. Flavor is more lemon and some grapefruits also. Ends dry and bitter. Another excellent ale from Dark Star. Very mild, but refreshing and drinkable.

Cask at Merton Summer Beer Festival, 16-07-10 Pours gold but a little hazy, white head atop. It was suggested that I gave this one a go by a CAMRA friend of mine who felt that whilst fine this was really quite an underwhelming beer from Dark Star. I tried it and initially agreed, but then I tried again and I think you had to get to know this one a little, it seemed quite subtle and needed time. There were some light lemony frgarances and the mouth had some lemon also but restrained along with a little wheatiness, smooth, and less hoppy than you might like but a good if unexceptional beer. Tap at the Evening Star, Brighton on 31 May 2010. Slightly hazy old with thin part-lacing head. Bitter and citric with coriander kick. Quite a bitter finish with a tangy end on a light mouthfeel.

Cask-conditioned at Blackfriars, Glasgow 28/06/09. Golden coloured with a decent white head. Aroma of oranges, apricots, straw and a hint of spice. Flavour began with sweetish malt, before more fruit, a hint of ginger and green herbs and a big, hoppy finish. Great stuff.

Cask.Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grass, hops, some mild sweet wooden and vanillaish notes. Flavour is quite much the same. A pleasant brew which also is refreshing.
