Originally drank close to release, but wasn't keeping track of vintages back than. So this is for the 2013 vintage, sampled in 2024 .

Pours fairly clear amberblonde. Small but present white head. Scent has age (old oak, cork ) very strong citrussy aroma from the yuzu, still dominant after 11 years. Taste is raw, tart, surprisingly light and elegant, yuzu, mild in acidity, very short finish. Still got some carbonation. Mild mushroomy factor from the age. Very wattery mouth feel, which does bother me, as well as the absent of any aftertaste. Very promising nose ( appart from the age factor ) but the taste is a let down. Past its prime for sure, not due to age-oriented flavors- those are acceptable in their intensity - but more due to the sheer boringness this has become. I remember it being far, far better.

Deep cut from the cellar. 2015 vintage. Picked up from Belgian beer shop circa 2015. A clear deep orange amber coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is semi sweet, woody citrus, horsey funk, brown sugars, balsamic, bark. woody orange. Flavour is composed of super sharp bitter citrus, woody citrus, sharp vinegar, balsamic, woody tannin, woody citrus, spicy yuzu. Little harsh and some age overall. Lingering musty horsey funk. pinch of salt. Palate is super sharp , tangy citric, mid to high pucker, mellow carbonation, some age.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Clear-ish dull gold with minimal white head. Funk and yuzu, quite flat, but interesting combination of flavour with the yuzu. Yuzu is a bit dominant here. Okay.

375ml shared with Phill @ Ryan's. Appearance: a bit hazy straw with a bubbly weak head which you may expect from a pure lambic. Aroma: fruity, hay, herbs, fruity character. Taste: along the same lines, completely flat, very fruity, no funk detected. Overall: ok.

Bottled@Rådhuskällaren, Umeå (shared with Jonathan, Caso & Fredrik). Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is tart wood, some zest, mild earthy and some green apple skins. Flavour is raw, some tart wood, mild zesty tones with green apples and some herbal tones. Nice carbonation. Ends quite tart and somewhat dry. Good sipper.

75cl bottle (5,5%; vintage 2021; BBF: 11/2026) from Cora in Brussels. F: medium, egg-white, average retention. C: gold, light hazy. A: lemon, orange, funky, lemon peels, woody. T: medium malty base, fresh lemon, yuzu probably, light sour fruity, floral, grapefruits, decent bitterness with herbal touch, lemon peels, medium carbonation, nice, refreshing, enjoyed.

Sample at Zythos 2022, hazy golden beer, small head. Aroma is citrus, yuzu, tart. Taste is the same, citrus, yuzu, lemon, sour, not bad, quite sour dry.

Bottle at Boutilliers Tap at Coachworks Ashford. quite a harsh sour aroma. some yuzu citrus fruit. very pithy as fruit. not great. apparently it was worse. not great. but ok
