A very good choice for those who are not keen on a typical beer taste. Very easy to drink and very refreshing. Yuzu is a Japanese lemon. During brewering, only the peel is used to steep inside the Lambic.

Hazy yellow colour with thin head. Aroma is strange in that it has a floral and musty note. Flavour is totally different. Extremely sharp and bitter lemon peel. Fresh,sharp. Drying finish.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 6 Dec 2017) Cloudy brownish yellow colour with brief, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of citrus, lemon, plums, yuzu, barnyard and some old socks. Fruity, tart taste with citrus, lemon, lemon peel, yellow plums, earthy cellar and a dry and tart finish. Medium body, dry. Fresh and tasty, with a good acidity, both from the fruit and from the beer itself. Very nice.

2017 bottle. Pale Amber color, hazy. Yuzu, floral notes and traubenzucker in the aroma, sour flavor with yuzu, floral notes and a hint of oak. Some rest sweetness from the fruit. A bit odd, but Nice.

375ml bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck, shared @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie March '19. Pours murky gold, thin white ring. Vermouth aroma, herbal, compost, oxidisation. Taste is herbal, dirty sharp, acidic.. has the impression it's been aged in a dirty Japanese barrel perhaps, though it does have a lovely lemony yuzu sweetness that introduces a sense of normality to things. Really wanted this to be outstanding, given the uniqueness of it, but it just falls short.

Many thanks for this Lambic to mkujon. Vintage 2015. Alez przedziwny kwaskowo-lemonowe piwo spontanicznej fermentacji. Zapach pachnie mocno intensywnie liśćmi z drzew, cytryny limonki zrywane razem z galazka z liściem, cos jak by mandarynki dostępne w handlu z tymi liśćmi zapakowane do koszyczka. Ocet cydrowy, ub ocet jablkowy przeplata się z porządnie kwasna cytryna. Troche jakby sfermentować gruszke nashi (notabene tez japonska). Wyglad zero piany nawet się nie sili by cokolwiek powstalo, mętne i brudne jak tabletka z witaminami rozpuszczona w szklance. To piwo jest genialnym dodatkiem do surówki z czarnej rzepy/rzodkwi. Doskonale podkresla kwaskowosc warzywa.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of yuzy, lemons, straw, and perfume. The flavor is sour with notes of spices, brett, malt, and caramel, leading to a lightly tart finish.
