My breakfast beer served at a dirty sports pub somewhere in Stockholm. Clear amber body with a dense, medium sized off-white head. Not much aroma, just a hint of toast. Flavor is mild, light roasted malt with a hint of toast and an even lighter hint of something fruity. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. Not very interesting, but frankly not bad either as a plain thirst quencher for breakfast or something similar. Goes well with egg & bacon.

500ml bottle from Systembolaget, Kiruna. Rocky, bubbly, beige head, slowly fading. Deep, dark brown head. Plain, but mild smell of malts. Nut-like malts in flavour with traces of slightly roasted grain. Moderately sweet. Soft on the swallow. Nothing distinctive, but paired well with the fish cakes (shared with Eva, Tromsø 31.01.2010).

Flaske 0,5l fra bestillingsutvalget til Systembolaget. Brun på farge. Høyt kremaktig skum som varer. Aroma av søt røstet malt. Smaken er dempet men litt røstet malt. Søtlig og litt fruktig bitterhet i ettersmaken. KI=6

From tap at Green Lion. Pours clear and golden and with a small white head. Aroma is overripe fruity and breadish. Flavour is the same with a light mouldy and acidic touch. Bitter, dry and breadish malty.
