Draft. A hazy red-orange beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet spicy and hoppy. The flavor is sweet and very spicy - very Belgian in the spice choice, but also with notes of juniper and bog myrtle, and a strong note of hops (not very Belgian), leading to a dry and fruity end. The body is thin.

[Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival] Clear amber, creamy head. Aroma of butter, caramel and grass. Plenty of malt, De Koninck style with evident Belgian yeast character and a wealth of grassy hops. Medium bodied, slender and drinkable with some hay-like bitterness.

Tank at the brewery. Clear, golden, with a large, dense off-white head. Spices, wheat, yeast and fruits in the aroma. Fruity and yeasty flavor with spices, wheat and medicine-notes. Medium body and a nice bitterness in the finish. The beer serves well cold, and feels refreshing. No wheat or spices are used in the brewing of the beer. Strange. (060825)

(On tap) Clear amber with a handsome and frothy off-white head. Fresh and floral nose. Medium body, lightly sweet with fresh, floral and lightly citrusy notes. Very light, fresh and quaffable, but I don’t really find it that Belgian in style. 250806

From the tank at the brewery, RBESG. According to the brewer, this beer "with a Belgian palate" is the result of a mistake, and it is weaker than intended. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy, large head. Moderate yeasty aroma with faint hints of barnyard. Moderate flavour of "dusty" hops, faint hints of pepper, fairly dry. Mouthfeel is too watery.

Draught directly from tank. Golden colour, huge off-white creamy, longlasting head. Aroma of fruity and flowery hops. Flavour is flowery hops and dryness. A bit spicy hints also in the long aftertaste. I also thought of juniper at one point I drank it...

Draught@brewery, directly from tank. Pale copper brown/yellow, good creamy off-white head. Faint hoppy and yeasty, almost like juniper or pinewood aroma. Light palate, lightly fruity. Herbal notes. Nice summer drink.

[Draught @ Delirium Cafe, Gothenburg] Hazy amber colour, thick head. Sourish lambic-ish aroma. Fruity and sourish flavour. Very refreshing and quenching.

Sampled at the brewery. Very different from all other brews I’ve tried from Dugges. Sort of orange golden hazy color, creamy white head. Initially very yeasty Belgian scent, but when the head settles some fruitiness appears as well. A bit watery mouthfeel and fairly low bitterness. It’s not bad, but it’s not among my favourites either.
