Corked bottle Boon Vat 44. Golden color. Lemon, honey and a hint of oak in the aroma. The slightest hint of raspberry. Only moderately sour honeyish flavor with oak and citrus. Complex, but I like my geuze a bit more sour. 9 4 8 3 15 = 3.9 Geuze Boon Vat 77. Corked bottle. Had this instead of the usual bottle of champagne just after midnight on new years day. Lemon, honey and peach in the very well rounded aroma. Rounded sours, oak, lemon, honey, hints of strawberry. Very well balanced.

From bottle thanks to Jan as VAT 44. Clear pale golden color with white head. Malty and yeasty aroma, light funky, light fruity. Sweet and acidic taste. Light to medium oily body with soft to average carbonation.

2010 vintage of Vat 44 at In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst. Pours a mostly clear orange, with basically zero head. Nose has lots of raw orange and raw lemon, funk, band aid, grapefruit, stinky. Flavor follows, raw citrus, some wet rope, band aid, funk, a little funky cheese. Finishes oily. Nice. 8 3 8 3 14

Pretty nice stuff. Subtle mix of grapefruit yeast and soft lime. Some passionfruit. Pours hazy golden with ok head. Wonderful beer to slang while walking through Park Guell in Barcelona. Light tangy finish but still has some sweetness. Bottle from Biercab.

Bottle shared at Daniel Osprey 10K tasting. 21/03/2018. Many thanks! A mostly clear golden onion skin coloured pour with a fine halo of white head. . Aroma is nice complexity, white grape, gooseberry, light musty fink. Flavour is composed of tangy, white grape, gooseberry, musty grainy, lychee, musty lacto, . Paalte is tangy, moderate carboantion, crisp finish. . Nice.
