First blended in 2016, Moonwalk has become one of, not to say, the cornerstone of the Bofkont story. The apricots are sourced directly from the Ardèche region in France and consist predominantly of Bergeron apricots, prized for their intense aroma and rich, velvety character
Each year, we carefully select the barrels that will shape the blend. A soft lambic, bringing a gentle lactic touch, has become a defining element of Moonwalk over the years. Our goal remains the same with every vintage: to showcase the beer's fruity and creamy character, supported by the refreshing acidity of the lambic without allowing it to dominate the blend.
The result is a balanced and elegant expression of apricot, where bright fruit notes, subtle creaminess, and a refined acidity come together in harmony.

Clear orange blond beer, no head. Aroma: cheesy, lots of banana, weird, funky, sweet, more ripe to overripe banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, lots of apricots, very sour, lemony, acidic, little bitter. Aftertaste: apricots, fruity, nice acidity.

2019 Release Head gone in seconds, fully hazy ochre beer. Intense lambic-y nose, farmyard, horseblanket, stonefruit, and indeed the apricotpits. Strangely, bit soapy flavour superimposed on all the classic ingredients; apricot, peach, lambic, farmyard, lactic acid. Quite sour, actually, not at all I mals /I, with some dried apricot in the aftertaste. Acidthinning and light -burn; very carbonated. Excellent, full stop

Another brilliant stone fruit lambic. Flavourwise, I prefer the peach ones myself, but in quality they are both top level. Loads of sweet apricots, light acidity in the beer, some oak, and plenty of complexity. Light and fresh.

Sample from Bottle (MBWAC - Friday BLUE) - golden hazy pour with a white head. Prominent rich apricot fruity, apricot flesh, funky, medium body and acidity, wooden oak accents, tart lingering apricot finish.

2020 bottle at 1280. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is apricot purree, definite funk, but super juicy. Taste is apricot, quite sour, dry and refreshing, but really on the sour side. Soft mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Great stuff.
