Bottle: Poured a brown amber with a beige color thick creamy head. Could catch hints of its sweet caramel/toffee aroma as it was poured. Sweet malt and possibly fruit of somekind also smelled. Sweet rich candy malt flavor with a tangy alcohol burn finish.

A hazy dark copper beer with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with some malt. Rather sweet malty flavour. Unimpressive dubbel.

Dark brown color; huge thick head. Aroma of caramel and cookies. Some sweetness to support the body, caramel taste, medium-to-low bitterness and light metallic touch at the end. Drinkable but simple Dubbel, with some milk chocolate.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy, reddish amber with a dense, off-white head. Lightly vinous aroma with notes of raisins. Fairly solid body with plenty of roasted malt and fruity notes - dried fruit. Dry but not overly hoppy. A bit too carbonated. 150906

Dense, divergently bubbled yellow-brown head; opaque, dark-brown, near black beer. Very chocolatey nose; I would be very surprised to learn no chocolate malts were used; slowly, a slightly sourish smell, with a malty background invades. I have "accused" many beers of being "japwater" - a watery extract of licorice. This IS it, but they have managed to exclude excessive sweetness. Lots of malt, but the licorice really subdues everything else - including the alcohol that remains totally hidden. Rather thinnish MF, probably very well attenuated, but it appears thinnish. There might be hint of unripe blackcurrant in the aftertaste. Thin, unsatisfying, especially in its genre.

A hazy red beer with a huge bubbly brown head. The aroma is sweet yeasty and hoppy - the hops giving it a slight dusty touch, but also hints of berries. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of over ripe fruits and prunes, leading to a dry woody end. A quite drinable beer. Thanks MadsBerg for sharing.
