This is the imperial version of our 0 IBU IPA IdontwanttoBU. Hopped exclusively with Citra and Mosaic. 0 bitterness. This one is just insane. Drinks like it's 6 or 7%, but clocks in at 9.3%. Straight up hop juice.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 32, 2016. Aroma is very hop forward with lots of mango, pineapple, melon and other tropical fruit. Lighter citrus and stone fruit notes balanced with some light dank and resinous hop notes. Faint onion and garlic. Light alcohol notes. Some light cracker malt notes with a touch of light caramel. Pours a hazy, dull copper orange with a medium sized, thick white head that recedes fairly quickly to a thin film that lingers, thicker on the edges. Light lacing and medium small legs. Flavor has a moderate sweetness with some light cracker malt notes and moderate light caramel notes. Medium high bitterness with some light alcohol spice. Moderate tropical fruit with ripe mango, melon and other tropical fruit. Lighter stone fruit with a bit of citrus. Faint dank and resinous notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice DIPA. Lots of fruity hop notes. Moderate hop notes with a sweetness to it that helps hide the alcohol. A bit more bitterness might be nice. Easy drinking, but needs a bit refinement to be a top DIPA.
