Can from Half Time. Pours mostly clear gold. Thin head, light, spotty lace. Big, sticky hop aroma. Tropical hops, candied sugar, and a little alcohol. Fairly heavy sweet with a good amount of bitterness too. Feels like it's even a little higher in ABV. Finishes kinda sticky. Pretty good.

32 ounce Growler from Delaware growler. Color is muted gold with sticky lacing. Once it warms up the aroma is very bitter from the hops. Some fruits, a little bit of pine behind that as well. Just a little bit of honey behind that bitterness as well. Flavor similarly bitter honey with light fruit accents. At least it’s not a malt crazy bitter ipa but a honey bitter ipa, which also isn’t great.

Nice hazy amber and light copper coloured body with a three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of alcohol, a good amount of resinous and tropical fruit hoppy elements, also showing some grass and a bit of earth. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong hoppy flavours with a big taste of flowers and resin up front, also with some sweetness from fruit and caster sugars and a lot of alcohol and toffee as well. Aftertaste is rich, very hoppy and alpha-acid forward with a nice bite at the end. Overall, a good rich beer with a solid profile and nice smooth complexity at the end. I sampled this pint can purchased from Ted’s Package Store in Charlton, Massachussets on 28-July-2016 for US$3,39 sampled on the train from Washington to New York on 01-December-2016.
