God, I'd give anything for a drink. I'd give my goddamned soul for just a glass of beer - Jack Torrance.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, chalk, grapefruit and pine. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long citrus, grapefruit, pine and chalk finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Can at home. Appearance is fruit juice, fucking punica. Medium sized white head. Aroma is lightly malts, lovely fruit hoppy but also some more classic hop notes. Pleasant. Flavor is malts, lightly classic hops here as well, not so much fruit hoppiness but way more bitterness and hop bitterness than I had expected upon seeing the appearance. I quite like this one, except for the fucking punica-look.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Muddy grey-yellow body under a dense, two-finger thick white head, clingy lacing. Blossom fruity aromas, tropical fruit and citrus. Fine blended hop fruity taste of pineapple, mango, and citrus. Drying ending with a prominent piney impact. Good drinking. (Tromsø 21.02.2020).

Can. A top new beer of 2018 according to the overlook on the front page here. A bucket of sand with an inch of white head that fades to a fat coat. Aroma of pithy citrus an green tropical fruit - not vibrant as such but deep. Some half-chewed crackers as well - such is the hazy way. Bolder hop presence upon a swig, and not in a wholly positive way: brightly fruity yes, but also some unwelcome herbal notes and a finish that's not very bitter but burns a little. On balance it's very good and certainly packs a lot in for its strength.

440ml can, misty gold appearance, large loose white froth. Pale malt on the nose. Taste is a little odd, some unwelcome herbal notes, juicy orange, passionfruit, grapefruit pith. Not massively into this one I'm afraid.

Can from Cotteridge Wines and shared at Embargo, Phnom Penh. Poured a cloudy straw colour short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, stone fruits, mineral, citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh, fruity, light floral, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.
