Sample at the Barrel House. This beer pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Vinous oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of oak, nectarine, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart and oaky with a citrusy aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color. It has some of the mellow aroma from the nectarines, delicate, some fresh wood too. Smooth, highly carbonated; fruity, but also a bit footy, a bit vinous and lemony. Not as elegant as others, but very solid Sour nonetheless.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is very complex, with loads of oak, moderate acidity, and tart stone fruits. Flavour is intense, with loads of acidity, very tart stone fruits and lots of oak. Intensely acidic but not in too overbearing a way. Works well together despite being sharp.
