Bottle from Total wines, Bellevue, Seattle, WA, USA. A dark golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. A nice American hoppy, citrus aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus, malty. A sound American IPA.

22 oz bottle. Slightly redish light amber with a big sandy head. Classic west coast IPA aroma and flavors. Heavy palate and smooth feel. Lingering bitter. Good IPA

Bomber. Pours a mostly clear copper color with a large white head. A fruity nose of lemon and oranges. Rich, some bitterness, lemons, citrus, earthy malts. Quite good.

Enjoyed at Three Penny Taproom in Montpelier, VT. Pours a slightly haze amber colour with good lacing all around and a head with decent retention. Good hoppy nose with orange notes. Same flavours with the nice orange blending over the hop. A nice mix of citrus (grapefruit for hop, orange-fruitiness for malts). Quite refreshing.

22 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but was purchased recently. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a nice 1-2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, floral, pineapple, orange rind, lemon zest, pine, honey, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hops and malt sweetness. Taste of grapefruit, orange zest, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, floral, pine, grass, honey, light caramel, light bread, and floral earthiness. Moderate floral and citrus bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, pineapple, floral, light pine, honey, light caramel, and floral earthiness on the finish for a bit. Very nice balance and complexity of hop flavors; with a great balance of hops/malt that still showcases the hop flavors; and zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice IPA! Great balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. No complaints at all, very well done.

Draft @ Black Back Fly shop. Big citrus of grapefruit, mango and just a bit of pine wafting out of the snifter. In your face citrus. Taste is just as nice as the aroma. Tropical fruits, grapefruit, pine that isnβt really bitter on the palate. Lots of sweet bready malt. Also some yeast presence. The taste is wonderful. No over whelming bitterness at all. I can see how some hop heads may not take to this. For me, I would order this on draft again. Well worth the price of a glass.

Bottle from Elizabeth Station, Bellingham, WA, 6.8% ABV
Golden color, with eggwhite-like head. Mild but nice hop aroma, quite fresh, some resins, citrus fruits, fresh wood. Good malt and toffee flavor, with a nice lemony touch from the hop; quite strong bitterness, with final piney resins.
Good.

Super hazy, almost golden tinted bronze and copper coloured body with a thin, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of grapefruit, nice rich piney hop with a bunch of apricots and other sweet scents tucked in with a decent amount of malt. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and piney hop notes balance out a perfect malt backbone and show a herbal and floral finish with lavender, sage and light hay notes with a very peppery yeast strain and a good subtle sweetness at the end. Overall, a very nice and complex IPA with a lot of deep flavours that show well and donβt cloy the palate at all. Great to sample and well worth searching out for if you can find it! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 28-February-2012 for US$4.15 sampled at home in Washington after running a half marathon on 16-September-2012.
