Bottle. Pours clear magenta, fizzy whiteish pink head that doesn't last and leaves nothing behind. Heavy raspberry aroma, oak tannin, bugs, straw, dust, basement. Flavor is light plus tart, light plus funk, bright raspberry. Medium body. Interesting that the last set of reviews all comment on excessive tartness; I don't find that in this beer at all.

Bottle shared @ Dangerous Bottleshares #11. Thanks to Bursprak for bringing this. Pours dark hazy reddish purple with a medium pink head. Aromas of lots of jam, lactic sour, wild strawberries, rhubarb, raspberries, cranberries. Taste is damn lactic tart, rhubarb, wild strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, light vinegar. Damn good! De Garde keeps being damn awesome.

Hazy, purplish, kind of fizzy and there's no head. There's a lot of cherry and blackberry sort of fruit notes. Strongly lactic and acetic. Still a lot of fruit, but the acidity is almost a bit too harsh to really express balance.

750mL bottle, pours an opaque pinkish ruby red with a tiny head. Nose brings out loads of fresh raspberries, with medium oak. Flavour is intensely jammy, with shitloads of potent tart raspberries and a touch of oak. Amazingly fruity and medium tart. Not complex but a delight to drink in its fruity potency.

Bottle @ Steve_0 during my 10k tick fest. Thanks Matt! Pours a dark reddish purple appearance with a pink head. Slight acetone, blackberries, raspberries, vinegar, celery aroma. Twangy, tart raspberry, jammy, slightly acetic flavor. Some weird off notes. Fairly high sourness. Not my favorite.

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is super berry forward. Some light acidity and oak notes, but overall it’s mostly juicy berries. Pours a murky, purple red with a medium sized, fairly thin, pink head that quickly disappears. The beer looks a lot like what I would expect carbonated berry juice to look like. Flavor is fairly acidic with a nice lactic character and a bit of yogurt and citrus. Fairly strong jammy berry flavors with hints of the malt backbone and some light oak. Low bitterness. A little less sour than the Black Raz Bu with a touch of a phenolic note to add complexity. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty delicious beer. Lots of jammy raspberry flavor and aroma. Light malt and phenolic complexity with some light oak. Some light citrus flavors as well. Add some sugar and this would be a hit at a sorority party.

Re-rate 7/15: Bottle shared at sour tasting at Noam’s office. Deep purple-red with a pink head. Lovely jammy berries aroma, with some latex gloves. Delicious big jammy berries flavor, sour and lactic, with oak, a bit acidic in the throat. Medium-bodied. Great stuff. 8/4/8/4/17=4.1
