Cask at The Colmore, Birmingham. Clear gold with well formed head. Has a tutti frutti quality with some biscuit and pine but a little dulled by Thornbridge standards. Nice enough though.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a hazy golden amber, with minimal off-white head. The aroma is quite perfumed with floral hops and fudge. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with consistency of barley sugar sweets. There’s a little underlying bitterness too and flavours of floral hops and tangerine plus some hints of pine. Finish is quite dry. Reasonable enough but a bit bland to say the least. An IPA should have more hops than this !
