Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#83. Another local find, although not my favourite style. Gassy, bordering on fruity, but not quite, hint of floral in aroma. Fine as lager goes, better than macro options.

Half-pint, draught at Cowes Ale House. Shared with Finn. Clear late straw coloured body leaving rings of lace down the glass, covering white head. Moderate grainy malts on the nose, semi dry. Rounded, subdued taste profile of pale malts with moments of noble hops. Drying end. Soft on the swallow. Fair enough. (Cowes 20.10.2022).

Delt med Rune. Lys gylden. Klar. Luftig skum som etterlater litt lacing. Lett maltaroma. Smaken lettkrydret malt. Tørr gressaktig bitter avslutning.

Bottle from Cider Barn, Godshill. Aroma has sour honey and malts. Opaque gold. Thin foamy white head. Medium-heavy bitter with a citrus edge. Underlying malts and finishes on a Soda water note. Some herbs develop. Light. Watery. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Could drink a few of these as it's completely inoffensive but ultimately somewhat bland.

Bottle from Lifecraft, Cowes, drunk at home. Light to mid-gold, clear with a film of white head. Aroma is light to zero, but I get a bit of biscuity malt and gummy resin. Tastes bittersweet, a little bit gluey, but there's some lovely flavours of toast and citrus peel. More bitterness in the finish. Well-carbonated. Not that interesting bit I don't dislike it.
