12 oz can pour. Pours a really dark brown color with a fading tan head. Delicious porter with coffee and.chocolate, but not overwhelming for either one. Finishes with a nice roasted flavor. Solid porter.

Aroma is rather nice with roasted malt and dark chocolate. Also hints of vanilla. Flavour is dry with coffee and chocolate. A slight British feeling here. Good.

Aroma has licorice and hay – feels English. Also hints of licorice root and coffee. Flavour has licorice, toffee typical to English ales and some licorice root. Also hints of baking stuff. Too English for me, I prefer other kinds of porters.

(Canned, Stockholm Beer Festival, 27 Sep 2008) Black colour with pale brown, frothy head. Roasted, malty nose with notes of chocolate, coffee and hints of spruce needles. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate and caffe latte. Smooth and creamy with a nice coffee bitterness in the finish. Well made and nicely balanced, but doesn’t really stand out. Nice beer though.
