Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers! Aroma of dried fruit, malted biscuits, lots of malt with hints of caramel. Smooth, minimal carbonation. Easy to drink and enjoyable.

Cask, 1/3 pint at Brewshed Beerhouse. Decent white head over a clear mahogany coloured body, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate smell of earthy malts and oily hops. Quite well balanced taste of caramel malts, bread and herbal hops. Earthy malt-fruity bitterness to the ending. Pretty good. (Bury St Edmunds 12.11.2021).

Draft: Poured a mahogany with creamy fast dissipating tan head. Aroma is super malty. Taste is bitter mixed with sweet malt. Works pretty well to balance.

Handpull cask at the Beerhouse, Bury St Edmunds. A rich amber/mahogany, translucent with a small off-white head. Woody, malty aroma with almost a funky hint. Taste is complex and beautiful. Bittersweet with cinnamon and bitter chocolate notes. Finish is long and more bitter with oak chips in the aftertaste. An enjoyable traditional bitter.
