Black color with a fine beige head. Nice lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and an ok carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. A bit oily texture. Some peat, roast, coffee and chocolate in the flavor.

Bottle@SBWF2015. Dark coppery brown colour, small head. Aroma is roasted malts, some coffee, mild ripe dark fruitiness as well as some raisins. Flavour is fruity, toffeeish, wooden and mildly raisins and coffeeish notes. The coffee also gives a quite sourish touch to it.

Bottle @sbwf15. Dark brown, thin off white head. Bready, caramelly, molasses. Flavor similar, too much sweetness here, molasses dominates.

Cask: Literally black with a ruby sheen, firm and creamy tanned head; sweet fruity and toasty nose, dried black berries detectable; moderate sweet-bitter flavour with a pretty subdued acidity; slightly lingering sweet-bitter fruity and toasty finish. Good, but still a bit sweet...
