Bottle. Pours murky brown with thin head of bubbles which quickly fade. Nose/taste is caramel, candy sugar, cane sugar, toffee, wild yeast, old wet wood, cheese and tart lemon peel. Mildly sweet with a complex multilayer tartness that gets mellower towards the bottom. Medium body.

On tap at the blender. Itβs an unclear, golden-orange beer with some bubbles trying to form a head. Cellar, lemon juice and some woodish notes on the nose. The flavor is mostly on the sour side, with just a touch of sugar. Medium to full body, dry. A nice beer indeed, very dry and sour for a faro, certainly a beer Iβd like to repeat. 110501
