Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5

Draught, Darby’s Gastown. Muddy w dull tan with a thick head. The aroma is orangey, touch of pine, grapefruit., bit of yeastiness. Moderate bitterness...pale malt sweetness shows through. Hops take on pineapple and pomelo accents. The relatively sweet pale malt underpinning is well done here, it allows the brighter aspects of the hop to shine.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, some resins and tropical fruits. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of piney hops, subdued tropical fruits, citrus and light caramel malt sweetness to back. Low bitterness and high fruitiness on the finish. Nice NE-style IPA.
