Bottle, 0.355l. Clear deep amber color with thick frothy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of dandelion syrup, resin, caramel, dried fruit and honey. Taste starts with medium sweet toasted malt and caramel, follows by dried fruit and grass, mouthfeel is warming and mild spicy, while finish is pleasantly bitter with long aftertaste. Medium to full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Hoppy as hell, tasty to tell...

Not a bad IPA, bridging the gap between old-school West Coast bitter hop bombs and the more citrus-leaning modern versions. Pours decent, leaving a tiny head but giving up surprising amounts of lace, and smells like pretty much every other damn Rogue ale out there (not bad, just...indistinct). Starts with an orange-caramel sweetness, then picks up those familiar Pacman apple notes before a massive burst of Pacific Northwest pine slathers the palate with resin. Grows dry and yeasty on the back end, and the fade is classic Rogue, mildly citric and piney with a apricot-apple tang underneath. Good, if a bit too comfortable in their house flavor profile.

Bottle. Pours hazy brownish amber with medium white head. Aroma is grain, green malt, corn flakes and lots of intense hops. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with notes that follow the nose plus notes of bitter grapefruit, orange, sugar, lime and grape peels. Intense and well balanced.

This is a big, alcoholic hop bomb of a beer. The dominant aromas are pine, honey, apricot, biscuit and a little raisin. The taste is dominated by the alcohol and pine resin, with a big oily coat all over your tongue. Not for the faint hearted, but if you just want to go large, this is certainly going to hit the spot.
